Charlotte Casiraghi is the daughter of Princess Caroline and the granddaughter of Princess Grace (Grace Kelly – the Hollywood actress and iconic beauty) and Prince Ranier Grimaldi of Monaco. Charlotte’s father was Caroline’s second husband, the Italian industrialist Stefano Casiraghi, who died in a speed-boating accident in 1990. By the time she reached her late teens, Charlotte had become popular with paparazzi and society reporters, who found her beauty to be reminiscent of her mother and grandmother. She is an avid horsewoman who has competed in equestrian events across Europe.
Charlotte Casiraghi is the new face of Gucci’s Forever New campaign. The first two images above show the brunette beauty posing in the label’s Fall 2012 campaign which has just been unveiled. Gucci recently announced that it was extending its relationship with Charlotte Casiraghi, who will be the protagonist of it’s new “Forever Now” advertising campaign series conceived by Creative Director Frida Giannini. Shot by Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, the black and white photographs celebrate Gucci’s iconic metal horsebit, which adorns many of their accessories and was first used by founder Guccio Gucci on the house’s saddle-stitched handbags in the Fifties.
