Free People (who happen to be my favourite boho brand) have just announced the launch of FP Me – a new online style community. Their website has transformed into an integrated social community, a place for shoppers to share personal style, create looks, curate collections, and interact with each other. Users can also tap into their own photos quickly and easily via an Instagram integration. There are a variety of ways to engage on www.FreePeople.com, including creating a public profile, uploading and sharing street style pics, creating product collections, ‘hearting’ products, collections, and photos, and connecting with other fashion lovers. FP Me also provides a new shopping experience where members can shop by items they have hearted, as well as through user’s street style pics and collections. I’m posting some pics of my own soon on FP Me, let me know if you do too!
Free People’s new short film Roshambo (another name for the hand game rock, paper, scissors) follows the lives of a touring band member played by Christopher Abbott AKA the hot guy from ‘Girls’ and beautiful brunette Sheila Marquez. They meet after a chance encounter reunites them and what follows is a whirlwind romance set against a Brooklyn backdrop. Get ready to be swept along with this dreamy duo, a whimsical love story featuring some gorgeous outfits by Free People. Can’t wait to see what happens next!
