Purple Fashion Magazine #19 s/s 2013 – Miranda Kerr by Terry Richardson http://purple.fr/
Here is the first look at Nasty Gal’s debut in-house line which is the first collection by Nasty Gal‘s Sophia Amuroso and comprises of 26 pieces. The collection is a melange of cool-girl references that gets both Pretty Woman and Pretty In Pink on us with sheer, bondage-inspired one pieces, off-the-shoulder sweaters, and not-so-sweetheart necklines. Shot by legendary photographer Terry Richardson, the first fall collection is named Weird Science and its pieces are named accordingly, think the Cryptic Mesh Moto, the Fuse Shag jacket, the Corrupted Sweater…
Jimmy Choo has teamed up with photographer Terry Richardson for their Fall/Winter 2012-2013 campaign, and the British shoe label has just released a behind-the scenes video of the shoot. “We wanted to capture the innocent glamour of the late 1960s, the fun side of eclectic rock and roll style, feeling cool and going out,” explained the two Jimmy Choo creative directors Sandra Choi and Simon Holloway. Stand-out pieces from the new collection include psychedelic lace up leather boots with flowers and fringing, multicolored fur tote bags and some sexy sequined evening shoes that I have my eye on.
Carine Roitfeld is due to launch a new bi annual glossy titled CR Fashion Book that has allegedly fired up Conde Nast management. Conde Nast, the publishing behemoth that produces Vogue, WWD and W, Glamour, Vanity Fair, Allure and many other glossy magazines, has forbidden all of its photographers and editors to contribute to Carine’s brand new magazine, due out in September. Roitfeld the former stylist and muse to Tom Ford, was the longtime (10-year) much-lauded editor-in-chief of FrenchVogue, which is of course published by Conde Nast. The last photo above is the image on http://www.crfashionbook.com, currently still under construction. Watch that space!
